Job seekers are nervous about changing their jobs because they have seniority with their current employer. If they change jobs they are worried they could be the last one hired, first one laid off. This FEAR is something you must address when you are representing candidates you are currently employed.
So many companies need to hire Top Talent, even if they are laying off individuals who can no longer help them achieve their goals. Clients would not invest in a candidate by paying their Placement Fee, if they did not see this person as a long-term employee. Candidates may not mention this fear, which is why it’s important for you to have a conversation on this topic during their interview.
Offer-turndowns have dramatically increased which is why it is so important to address the FEARS of your candidates up front.
